Measure the headband around your head and place the button
in the best place for you. As the wool is chunky & the hook is quite large
you can fasten the headband where you want to without the need of a button
hole.

Thank you for this pattern, Sue! I was planning on chucking my chunky yarn but now, instead, I will make these headbands. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome. I designed it because I got the yarn free on a magazine and loved the feel of it. Then I couldn't find anything to make out of it so designed this. It's also great as an earwarmer.
ReplyDeleteim having problem with 1sc inc 2sc 1 sc inc
ReplyDeleteYou need to put 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 2 sts, and 2sc in the last st. Hope that helps. each of the , means you are doing the next stitch in the next stitch along.
