I've Made Friday Week 9

Hello Everyone.
I hope your week is going well!

I'm having a bit of chill out time and working on my
African Flower Blanket.

Don't forget to enter:
Day One Day Two

Now it's time for you to see what I've been making.
I made a number of gifts for my best friend
Melissa at Lazy Daisy
She has now received them so I can show you what I made her :-)

I won a giveaway of Melissa's & she
bought me loads of pressies for my birthday
and surprised me with them.
I decided that I would thank her by making her some things.

I made her a daisy bookmark using
my needle felting.

A Crochet Daisy Bookmark

A yarn bag - this is the smaller version of the surprise one I'm making.

The yarn bag holds one 100g ball of yarn and your hook

A blue bag (Melissa's favorite colour) with a daisy

A daisy Chain, you can take each daisy off
& add or remove more depending if you
want a bracelet or necklace or headband

One of the daisy's on it's own

A couple of stitch markers

A hook with a fimo handle.

This week I have also finished
Little Red's chipmunk

I also had to make him a red top like Alvin's.
All Little Red keeps shouting round the house
is Alvin.

I have read a fantastic book this week:

Kindle:

Book:

The story starts with Prince Damien,
the spoiled youngest son of the king of Cardenas.
His world is turned upside down when a Gypsy Dancer,
Esmeralda comes into his life.
This is a period drama full of murder, intrigue, romance & fantastic twists and turns in life.
If you love a good romance you will love this book.
I was hooked from the start!
I would recommend this book to everyone!
It's a must read.
I would give it 5 out of 5

  1. Wowza! You made some amazing gifts for her. I'm not sure which I like the best. I'm partial to the chipmunk because they are super adorable but really love the daisy chain. Beautiful work!
