Review Monday Week 4

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

It's our 4th Review Monday already

This week I would like to review:

She’s Me By Mimi Barbour.

The basis of the story is a self obsessed B*tch (Jenna) gets her soul transported back in time into another woman’s body (Lucy). It’s the story of how something and someone can change you for the better. 

 I would highly recommend it as a good read.

 It’s the sort of story that fills you with a happy glow. 

 I loved the twists and turns in the story and how each character came into the story to play their own part. 

I love how each character plays off each other and how you don’t get confuse who is where because they have their own distinct character.

I would say give the start a chance – it was a bit too descriptive, when trying to set the background for the story, for me. 

 I also wish the ending had been a bit longer. 

 I would of liked to stretch the love stories out a bit more and learn more about the way their relationships develop.  

I would of also liked to have heard more of the conversations so we could see how they had changed.

As a first book this is fantastic and shows so much promise for the future. 

 I would highly recommend this book and all future books by this author.

Do you have a review request policy? The only policy I have is that my review has to be honest and if there isn't something I like about it then I have to be honest about it. 

Has it changed over time? I'm really new to reviewing so still on the learning curve.

How do you handle requests that don’t meet your criteria? I haven't had any yet but I would inform them that I wouldn't do a review.

 In the past, what types of "pitches" have caught your attention?  An honest one that says about the good and the bad.

Are there any (non-specific) examples of requests that are off-putting to you as a blogger? Not yet but I'm still new.
