WIP Wednesday 21st March 2012

Well I removed my linky followers
and yes my stats have gone down :-(
It's sad to see the stats now but
I know it's for the best because realistic stats
are better.

I have some exciting news:
I am trying out my needle felting kit.
My son bought it for me for mothers day.
I am really enjoying it!

I have to keep my fingers well away or go very slow.
Due to my CFS I'm not as co-ordinator as I used to be.
The great thing is I am really enjoying it.

The kit is enough to make 3 butterflys.

And here is where I'm upto:

I don't think it's too bad for my first go.

I'm hoping to make a new hat if I'm up to it tomorrow.

I am reading Lee Weeks Kiss & Die at the moment
I usually love his books but this one is a bit too gory for me!
I still like the story line but I find myself skimming the gory bits because I just don't want to read them.

I hope you are all having a good wednesday!

Don't forget to go and check out what everyone else is making:

    1. Thanks ever so much, I must admit I have already ordered another kit and some books for my birthday. It's great for when my brain can't follow a pattern, it just means I have to be careful with my fingers :-) You should get it out again, I would love to see it!

  6. Darling butterfly. I've not done any needle felting either; surely don't need another hubby that requires more stuff, lol.

    1. Thanks, I'll be back to crocheting hopefully tomorrow. It's nice to have something that I don't have to follow for when my brain doesn't work.

  8. I'm so tempted to try needle felting, but I daren't start a new craft for fear of running out of room in my house for all my stashes...lol

You've picked it up quick by the looks of it.

    1. It was really easy, I know I could get better but really pleased for my first time. It doesn't take up too much space ;-)

  9. Yay for you, looks good to me! I was always afraid I'd probly stab myself to death if I tried to do that. hehe Glad you're having fun at it, keep up the good work!

    1. I've found I have to go slow when my fingers are near and I put my nail so I don't stab myself. It's great on the bigger bits cause your fingers are out the way and you can imagine who or what you want to stab :-)
      Thanks ever so much
