Well I removed my linky followers
and yes my stats have gone down :-(
It's sad to see the stats now but
I know it's for the best because realistic stats
are better.
I have some exciting news:
I am trying out my needle felting kit.
My son bought it for me for mothers day.
I am really enjoying it!
I have to keep my fingers well away or go very slow.
Due to my CFS I'm not as co-ordinator as I used to be.
The great thing is I am really enjoying it.
The kit is enough to make 3 butterflys.
And here is where I'm upto:
I don't think it's too bad for my first go.
I'm hoping to make a new hat if I'm up to it tomorrow.
I am reading Lee Weeks Kiss & Die at the moment
I usually love his books but this one is a bit too gory for me!
I still like the story line but I find myself skimming the gory bits because I just don't want to read them.
I hope you are all having a good wednesday!

Hello Susan,
ReplyDeleteBut I like to visit your blog! :)
You and I are both crochet addicts and that is what it is about, don't you think?
Have a nice day!

Hi Elisabeth,
DeleteThanks ever so much! Being a crochet addict is fantastic! Hope you are having a good day!
I have some needle felting supplies but haven't used them yet other than starting a little toy animal a long while back. Can't wait to see what else you make! The kit looks fabulous! What a great gift
ReplyDeleteThanks ever so much, I must admit I have already ordered another kit and some books for my birthday. It's great for when my brain can't follow a pattern, it just means I have to be careful with my fingers :-) You should get it out again, I would love to see it!
DeleteOooh! We started needle felting just before Christmas. I think it's fabulous and want to have another go at it. It's so much fun! What a great gift!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you make? I've already ordered my next kit for my birthday.
DeleteYour butterfly is gorgeous! I have never done needle felting. It looks like lots of fun:)
ReplyDeleteYou should try it, it was great fun and i got to take out any anger on the felt :-)
DeleteWhat a thoughtful gift - it looks great and like lots of fun. Your butterfly has turned out lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you I can't wait to show you the other one I've made as well :-)
DeleteDarling butterfly. I've not done any needle felting either; surely don't need another hubby that requires more stuff, lol.
ReplyDeleteThere are never too many hobbies! I really enjoyed the kit because you got everything you needed to make it and didn't have to buy loads more stuff.
Deletelove your butterfly. yes we are all crochet addicts, and love every minute of it. sometimes it is good to do something else and felting is a good thing. hope your day is great. gert
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll be back to crocheting hopefully tomorrow. It's nice to have something that I don't have to follow for when my brain doesn't work.
DeleteI'm so tempted to try needle felting, but I daren't start a new craft for fear of running out of room in my house for all my stashes...lol
ReplyDeleteYou've picked it up quick by the looks of it.
It was really easy, I know I could get better but really pleased for my first time. It doesn't take up too much space ;-)
DeleteYay for you, looks good to me! I was always afraid I'd probly stab myself to death if I tried to do that. hehe Glad you're having fun at it, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI've found I have to go slow when my fingers are near and I put my nail so I don't stab myself. It's great on the bigger bits cause your fingers are out the way and you can imagine who or what you want to stab :-)
DeleteThanks ever so much

ReplyDeleteThanks ever so much. I really enjoyed this pack. It was good that you got more than you needed so I can carry on even after making what the pack is for.
DeleteVery pretty flutterby :)
